Brassloop / Privacy in plain English

A clear account of what we collect and why.

Brassloop collects your newsletter email and the messages you send through the contact form. We use them to send the newsletter and reply to inquiries. The app runs on Polsia-hosted infrastructure and uses the Polsia email proxy; Stripe may process payment information only once billing ships, not today. We use functional cookies or browser storage and basic analytics, not advertising tracking. Use /contact to request access, correction, or deletion.

Privacy should be readable before it is legalistic.

This launch policy covers the newsletter email and contact-form messages Brassloop receives, how we use them, and the choices available to you.

01 / What comes in

The information you choose to share

Brassloop has two direct collection points—the newsletter signup and contact form. We do not ask for more information than those surfaces need; basic analytics and browser storage are described below.

Newsletter email

When you subscribe to the Brassloop newsletter, we receive the email address you enter. We use it to send the newsletter and manage whether you are subscribed.

  • The email address you submit
  • Your newsletter subscription preference
Contact messages

When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you enter so we can understand, answer, and follow up on your inquiry.

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Message and any details you decide to include

02 / Why it is used

Keep the promise attached to the form

We use the information above for the straightforward reason it was provided: to send the newsletter you requested or respond to the inquiry you started. Basic analytics is described in the cookies and browser-storage section below.

Send the newsletter

We use newsletter signup emails to deliver Brassloop newsletter issues and related updates. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.

  • Newsletter delivery
  • Subscription management
Reply to inquiries

We use contact-form details to respond to your question, request, or other message. We do not use a contact message to add you to the newsletter unless you separately subscribe.

  • Answering your message
  • Following up when needed

03 / Service providers

Polsia helps Brassloop run the basics

The Brassloop app is hosted and operated on Polsia-managed infrastructure. These services process information only as needed to run the site, deliver messages, provide analytics, and support the forms you use.

Email delivery

The Polsia email proxy helps send newsletter messages and route replies to contact inquiries. It is part of the email delivery path for this app.

  • Polsia email proxy
  • Newsletter and contact delivery
App infrastructure

Polsia-hosted app, database, analytics, and supporting infrastructure help Brassloop serve pages, understand basic usage, and receive form submissions. Brassloop does not currently use an advertising-cookie network.

  • Polsia-hosted app and infrastructure
  • Basic analytics for site measurement
Future billing

If Brassloop launches billing, Stripe may process payment information for those transactions. Stripe is not part of the current launch policy because billing has not shipped.

  • Conditional on billing launching
  • Not currently processing Brassloop payments

04 / Cookies and browser storage

Functional preferences, not ad tracking

Brassloop does not use an advertising-cookie network. The site may use small, functional browser-storage and analytics tools to remember preferences and understand basic usage.

Theme preference

Your light or dark theme preference may be saved in browser storage so the site can remember how you want it to look on a later visit. You can clear browser storage or change the setting in your browser at any time.

  • Functional preference only
Basic analytics

The site uses Polsia analytics to understand basic page usage through a service-managed visitor identifier and page-load beacon. It is for site measurement, not targeted advertising.

  • Basic page-usage measurement
  • No targeted advertising profile

05 / Your choices

You can ask us to make a change

For privacy questions or requests, use the contact page and tell us what you need. We may ask for enough information to match your request to the relevant newsletter signup or contact message.

Access or correction

You can ask what personal information Brassloop holds about you or request that inaccurate information be corrected.

  • Request access
  • Request a correction
Unsubscribe or delete

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using its unsubscribe link, or ask us to delete your newsletter signup or contact message. Send the request through the contact page if the available unsubscribe path does not resolve it.

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter
  • Request deletion
Change browser choices

You can clear browser storage, change your theme preference, and use your browser’s privacy controls. These choices may affect convenience features, but the site does not require an advertising profile to work.

  • Clear browser storage
  • Use browser privacy controls

06 / The short version

Small collection points. Clear choices.

Brassloop asks for an email for the newsletter and the details needed to answer a contact message. We use those details for those purposes, describe our functional storage and basic analytics clearly, and give you ways to unsubscribe, access, correct, or delete them.

  • Ask for access or correction
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Change browser storage choices
  • Use /contact for privacy questions
